Extra Curricular Music at La Retraite

Why should I join a music ensemble (group) or activity at La Retraite?

  1. If you are learning to play an instrument in school then you have to play in a group to qualify for the school’s 72%+ contribution towards lesson fees.
  2. Playing and singing in a concert or show is not only good for your musical development, but also your confidence.
  3. It is a really good way to meet students from other classes and year groups.
  4. When you are applying for university or a job it shows that you have experience of working in a team and are willing to get involved in things.
  5. It is a fun thing to do and you can use your experiences as items to contribute to your PIXL edge and D of E records!
